Bottle courtesy of kyzr. Pours brown with a thin white head. Smells of caramel, chocolate, some pepper. Tastes of tea, fruit, some tartness on the finish. Decent.

Bottled. Deep ruddy brown with garnet at the edges. The light tan head stays for a while. The aroma has sweet walnuts and toffee. There is also a little bit of iced tea. The taste has some rich iced tea and a little bit leather. The finish is dirt with some ashtray. I enjoyed this until the finish. Obvioulsy a big beer, this hides the alcohol well.

Interesting. Poured with a big, fluffy, frothy, foamy tan head. Some lace. Clear, dark, reddish brown color. Malty nose. Very soft mouth. On the sweet side with some chocolate, and yes, cola. Not bad. Tad too sweet. but, not bad. Pick up a hint of booze on the finish.

Not too bad, tasted a bit like a stout but seemed to get weaker the more I drank. It did look like a Coca Cola, too, as someone mentioned below. Not really recommended unless the store doesn’t have any other decent ales.

12oz bottle. I’ve never seen this at any local store so was surprised to see a single at US Wine and Spirits today. Aroma more along the lines of a stout than a BSA. Lightly toasted dark malt, some bitter chocolate and a hint of smoke. Dark brown pour with deep amber highlights. Fairly bland on the tongue. A hint of diacetyl, toasted chocolate malt and that’s about it. Medium bodied with a kinda nasty buttery finish.
