Pours a dark brown, with a quickly dissipating tan head. Has a touch of the traditional Belgian flavors, but a little smoother, sweeter, and less biting. All in all, a thumbs up.

Bottle thanks to Toby. Pours a murky brown/red color with a small white color. A nice aroma of toasted malts, caramel and massive dark sweet fruit. A nice flavor of sweet caramel, fruit, berries, earthy. An unusual Belgian Strong Ale, almost some hints of a traditional ale. Strong but drinkable.

12 oz. bottle poured nice with slightly thin tan head.Malt and chocolate aroma. Sweet coffee taste with hot alcohol finish. A big brown ale, would not categorize as Belgian strong ale.

Bottle: First pour filled an entire pint glass with all foam. After settling it revealed a dark amber mahogany color with some remaining larger beige bubbles. Has a sweet toasty dark caramel and candi sugar nose with some molasses and banana notes. Starts with good fullness and sweet chocolate chip cookie dough flavor well balanced with some light clove spice and doughy yeastiness before a slightly drier, but smooth semi-sweet finish. A fairly true to style and very drinkable Belgian strong ale.

Hazy amber color with an extremely foamy tan head. Aroma of wheat with a hint of roasted coffee. Flavors of wheat, yeast and caramel.

Oily look, but watery pour with a brown head. Scent of faint chocolate and malts. Flavor of mild hops, malts, and something I can’t quite put my finger on that is between chocolate and herbs. I know, those two aren’t anywhere close to each other. Maybe you’ll understand when you drink it. Remarkably smooth palate.

Pours dark hazy amber with yeast particles suspended. Aroma of toffee, nut, mild alcohol, berry, plum, and something artificial like a plastic fishing bait or something. Taste is slightly medicinal with lots of bready and caramel malt. I get something like apple or grape jelly in the aroma, maybe peanut butter and jelly. I don’t know, but there is something weird here.

Deep brown with a nice tan head. Smells of dark chocolate, coffee and nuts with a little caramel. Flavor is smooth with lots of chocolate and dark malts and coffee with little hops. FInish is still smooth with a bite of bitterness.

brownish cola type pour with a good lasting medium off white head. Aroma is kind of funky, chocolate and cherry fruit. Nutty roasted malt. Lively carbonation here. Effervescent. Nutty chocolate malty flavour. sweet caramel. Light bitterness in the finish.
