Commercial Description:

Dark amber with a thin head. Nice fresh grapefruity hops and some sweet maltiness. Good fruity hop flavour with a bitter finish some malt but there could have been more. Still a tasty beer.

Bottle: copper colour with a light off white head. Aroma is woody floral hops and caramel. Full bitter hop flavour with some sweet maltiness. I think this aspires more towards the traditional Pale rather than APA. All in all I enjoyed it and the price is right!! Soon to be available in BC!

Bottle from the <a href=http://www.lcbo.com target=blank>LCBO in Toronto. Deep amber in colour, thin off-white head, some lace, vigorous bubbles. The aroma is malty (bready, some cookies), grains, earthy with a touch of caramel. The flavour is of light caramel malts, some bread, toasty, light cirtus hops, slightly sweet. Bitter mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes with a lingering hop bitterness, slightly dry.

Red copper ale with an off-white head. Light malts and british hops in aroma, with light caramel. Good malty base, with nuts and peat notes, good lingering bitterness, smooth and balanced. Medium bodied. Lacks the citrus of the APAs. Good British ale. April 2005. Bottle from LCBO, 2.95$ for a bomber.

pours a hazy amber, full of particals. head dimished quickly and lacing remained decent. aroma is slightly hoppy with grassy overtones. fairly malty in taste, a little light on hops to be balanced for my palate. still a very tastey brew, better than i expected.

Pours a rusty copper color with a medium white head. Aroma of hops, earthy malt and caramel malt. The flavor is dominated by earthy malts and is accompanied by hops and caramel malts. The body is light with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A decent pale ale.
