jerc (3861), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 16, 2005 Draft at C’est What, Wellington contract version. Amber body, nice creamy white head. Simple hoppy aroma.Nice well balanced boppy flavour at first, finishs with a touch more alcohol and not quite astringent hops. Average palate. Nice but there are better available. GregClow (2493), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Apr 15, 2005 Sampled at C’est What’s Spring 2005 Festival of Small Breweries. Canadian version contract brewed at Wellington. Bright orange-amber colour. Aroma of sweet orange candy and hops. Very nice body, some toasted notes in the flavour, and a well-hopped finish. Quite a good pale. Commodore (112), Ontario, Canada Apr 15, 2005 Wow..this was really bitter, but not in a "tear your esophagus out" way. In a very good "this beer has some guts" way. Poured a dark amber with little head, although it left nice seafoam all the way down the glass. Smelled caramelly, and a little hoppy. I really enjoyed this beer. Wellington County version, if that helps anyone. SuIIy (1406), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA Apr 9, 2005 Quality pale ale. Pours a light orange with a white head. nice rich aroma with lots of citrus fruits and outdoorsy scents. Taste is hoppy with a full body. Oakes (8058), gone rambling, Vietnam Apr 7, 2005 Wellington County, sampled by the pint on tap at the Bow & Arrow, Toronto
Bright amber colour. Tasty, yeasty aroma with amber malts. Very toasty (mainly a yeast byproduct in this case). Light bitterness with woody hop notes. Sammy (3934), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Mar 30, 2005 Was served too cold, but was worse at room temperature. A bit of barley so brown appearance and initial hoppy aroma with the head. Just bitterness and thiner mouthfeel after that. Nothing remarkable. Thanks Cass for the invitation. beanmedic (324), Hamilton, Ontario, Canada Mar 27, 2005 Updated: Aug 8, 2005A farily hoppy pale ale which i enjoyed. colour is dark mohogany. seems a little thin overall. will re-rate soon. Crockett (904), Steelback County, Ontario, Canada Mar 26, 2005 Nice looking amber with a sudsy off white head. Aroma of caramel. hop flowers, cereal malts and dried fruit. Quite bitter but round. Butter nut malts. Mild cocoa powder, earth and wood. Dry toasty finish.
