Commercial Description:
Brewed by Wellington County for the Ontario market.
Headstrong Pale Ale, inspired by the legacy of authentic British pale ales, is crafted with imported British grains, a special strain of British yeast, and hopped with prime Kent hops for a floral hop aroma, rich texture, and well balanced malt finish.

Very nice looking beer is lightly cloudy and similar in appearance to an apple cider. Nice 2 finger creamy off white head. Thick lacing! Aroma is deliciously floral with some grapefruit but it is generally sweet. Despite appearances this is somewhat thin in the feel. A unique hop profile is floral and grassy with some orange. Nice caramel malts. Mildly bitter. One of those beers that was great until tasting it. Still was enjoyable.

Medium amber with an average head. Lightish body with prickly carbonation and a syrupy base. Toasty and roasty. Only a mild sweetness. Plant-like bitterness lingered. Very middle-of-the-road beer.

Bottle bought in Yellowstone NP. Pours a clear copper color with a thick white head. The aroma was very nice; tons of caramel malts and some hops. The flavor was full of caramel malts mixed with some bitter metallic hops. The finish is quite bitter. A nice full mouthfeel, and a hint of orange peel round it out. Not bad at all.

Sampler. Light in appearance with a thin lace. Thin in flavour and a little sweet. Promising from the aroma but disappointing in taste.

~Pours golden amber with small white lasting head. ~Hoppy grapefruit scent with some caramel malts. ~Dusty crisp hop taste. refreshing, but a bit mellow and watered down. ~Light crisp and refreshing feel, bitter finish. ~This a very refreshing Pale Ale. Mellow and light. Enjoyable!

Pours an amber colour with a medium head. Bottled Canadian version. Aroma of sweet roasted malt and hops. Medium body. Big roasted malt taste with a good hop bitterness. Bittersweet caramel aftertaste.

473 mL can from matt7215. Thanks! Dark orange pour with a large frothy head that disappears fairly quickly. Peppery and citrusy hop aroma. Taste is very much the same with some pineapple and grassy notes. Very smooth and drinkable.

473 ml can, Shelburne, ON. Deep golden colour, creamy frothy head. Pleasantly sharp hop aroma. Medium body, sharp hop bite on the first sip, long peppery finish.
