yarry (349), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada Jan 23, 2008 473ml can, 5.5% a/v
Pours a light copper colour with a very generous tan head. The nose of this beer is largely citrusy hops with some very slight brown sugar notes. The taste is immediately hoppy which stays that way for awhile then peters out into a nice smooth caramel finish. Very good beer, with a nice mouthfeel.
hip_hop (65), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 10, 2008 Pours an amber colour with a medium head. Bottled Canadian version. Aroma of sweet roasted malt and hops. Medium body. Big roasted malt taste with a good hop bitterness. Bittersweet caramel aftertaste.
dkachur (632), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jun 23, 2008 473 mL can from matt7215. Thanks! Dark orange pour with a large frothy head that disappears fairly quickly. Peppery and citrusy hop aroma. Taste is very much the same with some pineapple and grassy notes. Very smooth and drinkable. markas101 (342), Fargo, North Dakota, USA Jun 18, 2008 473 ml can, Shelburne, ON. Deep golden colour, creamy frothy head. Pleasantly sharp hop aroma. Medium body, sharp hop bite on the first sip, long peppery finish. robinvboyer (954), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Jun 7, 2008 650ml bottle. Aroma os malt, and a bready graininess. Meh, pretty pedestrian. Flavour is much of the same, quite grainy. and boring. Blasphemies (45), Ontario, Canada May 27, 2008 can: browny copper colour, some citrus aroma. Surprised by the carbonation, but it doesn’t ruin it. Good mild hops.
