argo0 (6334), Washington DC, USA May 16, 2004 Clear dark copper body topped by a small beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, brown sugar, caramel (toffee as it wamrs), spicy biscuit. Taste is mild sweet, caramel (which leans more to toffee as the beer warms), earthy, spicy, biscuit. Finish is spicy earthy. Medium body. Unusual flavors, I fear my descriptions don't adequately describe it, but whatever it is, I like. kp (6300), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 08/19/2007
CaptainCougar (4709), Rockville, Maryland, USA Aug 19, 2007 Pours a transparent lightly effervescent amber copper with a small, frothy coating of light tan head. Aroma of lightly toasted pale grainy maltand some mild orangey citrus hops. Body starts lightly carbonated and of decent viscosity, but not much sweetness and only a dry, earthy, grainy bitterness throughout, with a touch of some doughy character and lightly peppery hops. A pretty mediocre amber. Cornfield (4469), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Oct 20, 2006 This poured a reddish brown body with a slight, bubbly head. The aroma is of dusty toffee with a nutty bitterness. The toffee and nuts remain in the flavor and a light earthy bite finishes it off. Unremarkable.

Party Pak Liquors, Indianapolis, IN
BBB63 (3865), La Porte, Indiana, USA May 22, 2005 Bottle: Deep coppery hue with a small fizzy head and some lace. The aroma has notes of caramelized and bready malts, grassy hops, and a hint of DMS. The taste starts bitter with hops more dominate than malts. Grainy and lightly nutty as well. The finish is more hop spice (peppery) than anything else. The feel is sharp and thin. Overall it’s just an average beer and quaffable.
