does not count fabric8r99 (7), Bozeman, Montana, USA Mar 20, 2002 One of my favorite beers! Did the other raters sample the same beer? I consider it a ’sipping beer’ for easy consumtion, not to be guzzled like Bud Light. The slight apricot flavor is curious, the smooth, thick mouth feel is a real pleasure and the aftertaste a delight, so sip it slowly. Draft is better than bottled, so of you can find it on tap, enjoy!
hennes (932), Fountain, Michigan, USA Jun 10, 2003 Very hard to characterize this brewery. One thing you can say is that threy must have hooked up with a hell of a distributor, becuase you can get their stuff in Michigan. Anyway, this is a wild brew - it has the kind of edginess that works well in the white beer and falls apart in the EPA. Here the rollercoaster runs becuase you have a hard time deciding if you like the weird heaviness of the texture and then are alternately bothered and intrigued by the odd fruits. P-tor44 (887), Anchorage, Alaska, USA Mar 27, 2003 juicy malt vinous aroma with mellow hops. dark amber color, no head. high carbs, im searchy to say more then midi hop taste and sweet malts but really thats all thats here. eh NeroFiddled (105), Pennsylvania, USA May 30, 2002 I have to give Big Hole credit for putting this out. That took ’Big Balls’. On the other hand, I guess I do have to give them credit for introducing an entirely original product! I’ve never had, and don’t expect to again, anything like this. It’s like heavy unfermented wort. Creamy, yes? Enjoyable, no. Of course, I hate to put a rating like this up for such a great brewery. Mythical White is brilliant. In fact, all of their other beers are well worth trying. Cheers! DrBeer (744), Danderyd Stockholm, Sweden Jan 17, 2002 Strange brew.
I tasted the same bottle as ’omhper’.
Jellyish beer that smells like sweet-sour sauce
and taste like bland apricot jello. Not a very pleasant beer.
