3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy pale straw color. Aroma is faint...grapefruit. Taste is orange peel and a little sweet. Not my favorite style and this isn’t a great example, but it’ll do.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Ram, Tacoma. It’s an unclear one, orange colored, and topped by a minimal sized off-white head. The aroma has green pine cones, orange peel and a generic fruityness. Medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, with a nice carbonation. Pine cones and orange peel dominates the flavor, with some maltyness kicking in. Nice bitterness all the way. Lasting finish. A tasteful and pleasant pale ale meant to be drunk by numbers I guess. 130629

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Ckearoght gold, thin white lacing. No aroma. Malted cereal flavor on a bitter palate that is full bodied, but leaves a wierd, bitter cereal finish.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampler at the Schaumburg location. Hazy brass color. A thin head with a bit of lace. Somewhat hoppy nose mitigated by the soap in the restroom on my hands. A nice, big hoppy burst on the first sip. The hop bill seems aimed more toward bitterness than flavor, then there’s a slight bit of citrus, pine and grass.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft. From notes. This beer is pretty weak and watery. Some light hops throughout with a weak malt backbone. Meh.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at C.B. Potts Greenwood Village location. Pour is hazy orangish with a frothy white head and great lacing. Hoppy, spicy, biscuity, bready aroma. Taste is earthy, grassy, somewhat caramelly, bready, and citrusy with a medium bitter finish. Medium mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not a bad APA.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Decent for a craft pale ale. Very yellowish to gold in color with a distinct smell which I did not enjoy. Would not get again.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap. Pours hazy gold with thick, frothy white head; short retention and decent lacing. Aroma is grassy and floral hops, biscuit and cereal malt, orange peel, and light lemon. Flavor is balanced light fruit esters and grassy hops with some lightly sweet malts and some faint floral notes; dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation.
