Draft at Indy location. Poured clear copper color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate malt & sour citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body with a light sticky texture. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

On tap @ CB Potts Flatirons poured a cloudy orange with a lasating eggshell head. Aromas of carmel, orange, grapefruit rind, tangerine and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, orange, earthiness and light pine with a smooth moderatly bitter finish.

Soonah (1120) - Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA - APR 18, 2008
Poured copper with touches of ruby. A one-finger tall, mostly white head produced decent lacing. The aroma was thin, spicy, floral hops and softer, sweet caramel malts. Hop heavy flavor. Too much dry, spicy hops. Failed to find balance. Average, watery, microbrew mouthfeel. Decent.

Soft floral and citrus aroma. Golden color. Nice hoppy thirst quencher/session ale with citrus and floral notes and light malt/breadiness.

Tap at Indianapolis location. Golden amber with white head which stands up and laces very nicely. Aroma is slightly spicy, some citrus, and a little caramel. Taste has a wonderful balance of slight rye, caramel, and orange. Some slight spicy aftertaste and mild bitter finish. Medium bodied and very nice drinker.

Sample glass @ C I Shenanigans. Strong hoppy nose. Good frothy head and thick lace. Golden amber. A hoppy very good pale ale.

Pour is reddish amber with a thin soapy bright white head...smell is lightly spicy with some pepper and toasted bread along with nice floral and grapefruit scents...taste is highly sweet throughout with some pepper flavors but lots of malty bread...light bitterness finishes it out...

hotstuff (4069) - Indiana, USA - MAR 17, 2008
Draft at Indianapolis, IN location. Small head that quickly dissipated, no lacing, transparent, no carbonation observed, and a gold hue. Nose was hoppy, malty, some citrus and spicyness. Flavor hoppy and citrus. Boring. Tingly mouthfeel and medium in body. Quaffable, but nothing going on with this APA. Rather bland, dull and uninspiring.

A golden pour at the RAM restaurant. Had a nice profile of hops. The rye was noticeable. Rounded out with some sweet malts. A decent offering. Also, took home a growler of their seasonal ale called Uncle John’s that is quite good.

On tap at Boise Ram. Pours out an amber topped with a white head. A touch of hops and malt on this one. Just a normal Pale to me.
