Pour is reddish amber with a thin soapy bright white head...smell is lightly spicy with some pepper and toasted bread along with nice floral and grapefruit scents...taste is highly sweet throughout with some pepper flavors but lots of malty bread...light bitterness finishes it out...

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Indianapolis, IN location. Small head that quickly dissipated, no lacing, transparent, no carbonation observed, and a gold hue. Nose was hoppy, malty, some citrus and spicyness. Flavor hoppy and citrus. Boring. Tingly mouthfeel and medium in body. Quaffable, but nothing going on with this APA. Rather bland, dull and uninspiring.

A golden pour at the RAM restaurant. Had a nice profile of hops. The rye was noticeable. Rounded out with some sweet malts. A decent offering. Also, took home a growler of their seasonal ale called Uncle John’s that is quite good.

On tap at Boise Ram. Pours out an amber topped with a white head. A touch of hops and malt on this one. Just a normal Pale to me.

Compared to the other places, the brewer in Salem,Oregon seems do have done an excellent job.
Appearance clear golden ale with a lovelly pure white head.
Nice hoppy/malty aroma, slightly spicy.
Nice hoppye North West taste in thsi one, quite refreshng and among the best PNW Pales IMO.
Good palate that holds the body well.
Overall a very nice pale.
There seems to be quite a bit of difference in quality of Ram brewers.

Nothing that amazing. Pretty much your typical textbook pale ale. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t very unique.

Once again, Ram gives me a by-the-numbers brew. Pretty boring. I finally figured out what it is about all these Ram brews: it’s like they just bought a home brewing kit and are starting to learn how to make beer. Hell, I could do that myself.

Very plain pale ale. Sweet citrus aroma with a thin white head that dissipates.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a very small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent uncarbonated orange colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy. The mouth feel was smooth at the start and mediumly tingly at the finish with a biting hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt and hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Orange-amber pour with almost no head. a little citrus in the nose. Crisp (but thin) mouthfeel. More hops than I had imagined. Like an IPA-light. Not exceptional, but refreshing, and I really can’t say anything bad about it.
