On tap at the RAM resturant/brewery. Cloudy yellow in color with a small head. It does a have a rye presence but not overly strong. Medium body and a smooth finish. One of the better beers on the RAM list, which ain’t sayin’ much.

Tap at Ram. Deep amber with a thin white head and spotty lacing. Aromas of light citrus, hay, rye and alcohol. Taste has a grainy sweetness with a very mild citrus bitterness. Body is medium with oily feel.

Sampler at Schaumburg. The most interesting Ram beer I’ve had so far, which isn’t saying much. Oliy hemp seed burnt tones. I pretty much get toasted oily hemp all the way. An oddity. Somewhere between an India Brown Ale and an APA. Another loser.

Draught in a flight at the pub. Pours a slightly hazy amber color. Nose has a little bit of resin in there with some spiciness from the rye. Taste has a lot of rye grains in there as well, with a slightly sweet finish. OK, but nothing special to me.

Tap: at RAM, Indy Poured hazy...orange/gold with a short, off-white head. Grapefruit peel aroma. Malty, fruity/citrus taste. Creamy and soft. Basic, but nice, example.

Pour on tap at the brewpub, clear yellow pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of slight grass, grain, biscuit and bready notes, slight spice, hints of earth. Taste is slightly bitter, grass, orange peel, slight spice, hints of bread, biscuit, slight earthy notes, finishing clean, slightly bitter.

18 oz at C.B. Potts Highlands Ranch. Cloudy orange with a frothy white head. Aroma is musty, earthy with small hoppy citrus notes. Very stock pale ale with no frills whatsoever. The flavor has grassy bitterness, light citrus bite and a continuous earthiness. It’s on the waterier side of the style. Not offensive.
