Dark brown, almost black pour. Chocolatey smell. Great balanced, roasty flavor. Also, really awesome. One of the best beers I’ve had at Ram.

GABF 2008. This was sampled from the Fort Collins CO brewery, and was listed as Wolin altic Porter. Aromas of cocoa, cherries, and almonds (marzipan). Chocolaty palate with stewed dark fruits, more marzipan, and a medium bitter finish. Quite nice.

Draught . Clear dark brown coloured with a medium sized beige head. Light roasted aroma of caramel, rye bread and chocolate. Sweet and roasted flavour of caramel, rye bread, chocolate and alcohol. Roasted and warming alcoholic finish.

Poured super dark brown, almost black. The head was tan to brown in color. Very little lacing. The aroma was malt and chocolate and some slight bitterness. The flavor was marred by a slightly astringent, almost soapy flavor that distracted from the malt and chocolate. Average mouthfeel. Total Disorder was much better than this one.
