COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed as a medium India Pale Ale, this full-flavored moderately hopped beer has the strongest hop character of our ales. Made for hopheads and new beer aficionados. The grist composition is 94% Pale malt, with the remaining grain bill consisting of carastan malts. The finishing Mt. Hood hop addition in the whirlpool gives this beer a good hop character without becoming excessively bitter. The beer is fined instead of filtered so the hop character is not stripped away.

Poured into a pint glass on tap. A dark amber red with very little head. Not much in terms of aroma. Medium hoppiness. Somewhat weak for the style. There is an unpleasant aftertaste that hangs in your mouth.

Decent ipa out of ram brewing. Very deep amber in color and has a nice amount if hopps and has a nice bitter taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap. Pours clear amber with thick, frothy off-white head; short retention and some lacing. Aroma is grassy and floral hops, cereal and caramel malts, dates, light woody notes, and light pine. Flavor is grassy and pine hops forward (medium bitterness), toasted malts, dark fruit esters, and light caramel; dry, bitter finish. Medium body and low carbonation.

On tap at Schaumburg location, pours a clear light brownish red with no head, the aroma is of older hops and malt, the flavor was really off to me, the hops seemed very faded and old and was more sweet than hoppy, really didnít work for me.

On tap @ C.I. Shenanigans in Spokane. Medium amber, thick head, great retention. Very piney, vegetal hop character, nice malts without being overly sweet or sticky. Tasty.

Solid American IPA with spicy hop profile. Some resiny notes but little fruitiness. Nice clarity in the gorgeous auburn beer. Deep side of the tongue bitterness that fades with a slick mouthfeel.

Dark amber color. Citrus, hoppy aroma. Minimal head. Flavors of citrus (grapefruit), and typical IPA hop bitterness. Clean & refreshing.

On tap at a RAM Brewery restaurant - Served in a frosty glass (?!?!?!) Has an amber color (more like the color of weak iced tea). Has a piney nose and an earthy taste. The body is thin and the finish on this beer is terrible with a bitter woodsy taste. They sell 18 and 24 oz of this stuff. Iím trying to figure out what Iím going to do with the other 17 ounces.
