2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 muzzlehatch (4425) - Burlington, USA - JAN 1, 2004
Schaumburg, Illinois. Hey guess what this isn't horrible, merely very, very mediocre. Light copper. Smoked urine, caramel, wet newspaper nose. Actually pretty hoppy, with hints of sour cherry (beloved Lord Alexander Rodenbach, come down and slay this demonic cherry-faker I beseech you) but really very little in the flavor profile overall. Strongly bitter but thin finish. This is a joint and these are beers for those who really would rather drink Coors Light but want to call it something else to appear sophisticated.

Floral hop aroma. Oramge-amber in color. Hoppy and caramel malty taste. A real clean finish, almost like an amber ale.
Notes: Pub visit during ’09 GABF

Mostly clear copper color. Lasting white head. Funky dank malt aroma. Bitter taste with a little bit of pine and citrus. Just weird overall.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 sickboy79 (64) - USA - NOV 11, 2011
Very nice IPA. Almost some red ale notes in there - some of that caramel malt on the start with a nice mouthful of hops. Sweet citrus finish. One of my favs from The Ram! Recommended if you go!

Pours light amber with small white head. Aroma is faint notes of fruity citrus hops. Taste is caramel with a hint of citrus and light bitterness. Very light body. Just not a good representation of the style at all.

draft... dark amber beer, decent light tan head... seemed to be their most popular beer, its was passable but not very good overall

This is my beer of choice (if I’m not a fan of the available seasonal) when I go to the Ram. Pours a nice clean read, with a white head. Nose has a touch of malt and citric hops. Taste is crisp, dry, citric, and woody. A very approachable and tasty brew.
