It is designed to attract the beginning micro beer drinker. The addition of Willamette and Cascade hops gives this ale a crisp, clean character that is not challenging to a novice. This beer is enjoyed by experienced micro drinkers because of its character.

@ RAM Chicago. Pale yellow, small white foam ring. Malty aroma and taste, quite fresh actually. (Chicago 201510)

On tap at Big Horn U District, pours a clear dull blonde with a small with head. Nose brings out straw and stale bready malt. Flavour brings out cereal malt, some straw and a light sweetness. There’s nothing wrong with this. Clean and drinkable, just unexciting.

Draft at the Puyallup, WA location. A: Flower and graham cracker. A: See through yellow. Very bubbly. T: Flower and graham cracker dominate. O: This was a very, very simple beer even for a blonde. I’m glad that the food overpowered this because there wasn’t much flavor anyway.

Tap at the Schaumburg IL location. For a simple accessible blonde for the masses at a chain brewpub, this does not suck like many do. Clear pale gold pour with no head. Fairly sweet grain aroma and taste. Crisp palate.

"gotta go against the grain here. rarely if ever will i give a blonde a super high score, but if it scores anywhere near the "better" bigger styles, that’s a plus, and I thought that (for a blonde) this beer was quite good. crisp, with a nice cascade hop finish. everything but the thin feel was above average." two years later i see what all the negativity is about. totally different beer. 2.2-3.2. sigh...

Draft at Humperdinks in Arlington. Very pale yellow, no head or lacing. No detectable aroma. Plain bitter taste. Throw this one back.

A pretty clean house light beer. Some dry, earthy clusterish hop tones. A touch too sweet, sugary for the style. Not the kind of beer I’d ever revisit, very macro-straightforward.

Draught in a flight at the pub. Pours a very clear golden color. Nose has some wheat on there, with some light citrus elements coming through. Felt very smooth, like cream. Taste was very light, and just had a few grains in there. Meh.
