Tap at the Schaumburg IL location. For a simple accessible blonde for the masses at a chain brewpub, this does not suck like many do. Clear pale gold pour with no head. Fairly sweet grain aroma and taste. Crisp palate.

"gotta go against the grain here. rarely if ever will i give a blonde a super high score, but if it scores anywhere near the "better" bigger styles, thatís a plus, and I thought that (for a blonde) this beer was quite good. crisp, with a nice cascade hop finish. everything but the thin feel was above average."
two years later i see what all the negativity is about. totally different beer. 2.2-3.2. sigh...

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A pretty clean house light beer. Some dry, earthy clusterish hop tones. A touch too sweet, sugary for the style. Not the kind of beer Iíd ever revisit, very macro-straightforward.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draught in a flight at the pub. Pours a very clear golden color. Nose has some wheat on there, with some light citrus elements coming through. Felt very smooth, like cream. Taste was very light, and just had a few grains in there. Meh.

Enjoyed on tap at Ram restaurant/brewery @ the bar. The color is a clear yellow with a light white head that dissipates. Flavor is a crisp slight citrusy-vague bread. Not a lot of flavor, ok -easy drinking blonde. Suck it down. 5.7 BD
