3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ C.I. Shenanigans in Spokane. Medium gold, lacy white head. Nice light fruity hops and medium bitterness, clean grains. I was surprised to find that this beer gets clobbered in the ratings. I thought it was a nice, particularly for a style that is often so dull.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tap at the Schaumburg IL location. For a simple accessible blonde for the masses at a chain brewpub, this does not suck like many do. Clear pale gold pour with no head. Fairly sweet grain aroma and taste. Crisp palate.

Pour on tap at the brewpub, clear yellow pour with thin white head, aroma has slight grain, biscuit, bread, slight clove, touch of spice, pretty nondescript. Taste is a mix of slight grass, biscuit, vanilla, hints of honey, clove, fruit notes, touch of spice, finishing bitter, clean, slightly dry.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Draft at the Tacoma Waterfront location. Crystal clear medium straw. No head, no lace, no carb. Musty, sweaty nose. Flat, watery body. Stale corn and sweat on the mid-palate. Neutral finish. In no way exciting.

Had this on tap awhile back at the Indianapolis brewpub. All I had written down was "weak!"

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
"gotta go against the grain here. rarely if ever will i give a blonde a super high score, but if it scores anywhere near the "better" bigger styles, that’s a plus, and I thought that (for a blonde) this beer was quite good. crisp, with a nice cascade hop finish. everything but the thin feel was above average."
two years later i see what all the negativity is about. totally different beer. 2.2-3.2. sigh...

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Had as Humperdinks Texas Blonde.. On Draft in Dallas .. . light and refreshing and it has the taste to back it up .. . light grains and hay, very tasty .. . a great summer brew, i quite enjoyed it .. . Would Willie’s fence-mending eggs bear fruit? Or would his olive branch be torn apart by woodpeckers of mistrust?

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cloudy yellow beer. It's lightly biting and citric-sweet. This is thirst-quenching, almost soda-like. Average.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap in Richardson, Texas. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is lemons and oranges. Flavor is wheat and biscuit malt, with a ton of what strongly resembles circus peanuts. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not good at all, but there are worse beers on tap at Humperdinks.
