Skyview (3143), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jun 6, 2007 On tap at the Big Horn Brewery in Rosemont, IL. Pours a clear golden pale brew with a thin white head that dissolves to a fine film. Leaves behind a fine lacing. Aroma of light citrus, young barley malt, with a touch of sugar malt. Taste is lightly carbonated, light bodied with a hint of pine hop aftertaste. Finish is clean and crisp. dwyerpg (2174), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Aug 6, 2007 Really not too bad. Not much aroma. Flavor isn’t bad, a little hops in the finish. Decent overall. DA (2641), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Jun 30, 2004 Pours a light golden color with a small white head that falls fast. Lots of fruityness in the nose, kind of appleish. Taste is sweet with a hint of brown sugar and the apple just stays around. Thin mouthfeel but pretty average brew of this style. KAggie97 (2066), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring, Texas, USA Jul 23, 2005 Pours a nice golden yellow. Aroma is cotton candy. Flavor starts sweet but finishes out with a nice sour hops tinge. Palate is thin. Overall, a good beer for a hot day. frankenkitty (1834), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Nov 20, 2005 Rating for Big Horn Chicago Blonde

This one gets a 4 for appearance... RAM has a tendency to over-frost their glasses and, in my case, a giant iceberg detached itself from the bottom of my glass and floated slowly up into the head. It was like watching "Titanic"! Otherwise, it was a medium golden, frost-hazed body under a holding, creamy, 1cm film. Aroma and flavor was nutty & bitter. A sweet middle flavor led the way to light hops for a refreshing finish. Smooth with a touch of crisp.
