The most complex of our beer line-up with a combination of five different malts and four different hop varieties. Buttface has the broadest popular appeal of our beers. It has a high malt character and lack of evident hops. This surprises people because it is easy to drink, but has a higher alcohol content than what is perceived.

Schaumburg. Clear amber-copper in color with a thin creamy white wrung for the head. Raspberry muffins in the aroma, joined by juniper berries, starch and rye bread. Honey and sweet maple in the flavor, surrounded by a subdued hop profile. It might be ill-adjusted IBU levels but my guess is a bad crop. Tingly and decent carbonation levels. Rye is all that’s left in the finish. One of the brewery’s better beers.

Deep red color, quite pretty, with a small, flimsy head. One of the worst aromas, ever. Manure, diecetyl, skunk, sewage, the worst aroma you can possible imagine. Flavor is full of oxidation and diecetyl. The worst craft brew in history and it’s fresh. Wish I could actually understand the brewing flaws. There are plenty.

Caramel, sweet and just slightly hoppy notes. Medium amber color with little head. Sour flavor, slides down fast with little aftertaste. Hints of coffee.

Draft: Pours a caramel orange with some white head. Aroma is mostly malt, with some citrusy hops to it. Taste was sweeter than expected, but showed tons of malt character with some yeastiness qualities to it. Nice carbonation and mouthfeel. One of the better Amber’s I have had.

On tap at Humperdink’s Addison, TX. Pours honey-gold, like a nice glass of whisky. Aroma has hints of chocolate and malt. Medium-bodied mouthfeel. The flavor is more reminiscent of an IPA than an amber, but it still retains a nice toast flavor with a decent balance between the sweetness and the sourness.

Draft in Alrington, TX This was one of the best brews of the night out of the 8 beers I tried. Really has no new taste that grabs me, tastes like most ambers.

Draft in Indy. Dark amber color with average off-white head. Aroma and flavor was a medium malt and caramel. Medium to full body with small sweet finish. Matchs style well.

I thought they served me another "Big Red" judging by the deep coppery brown color. Aromas gave it away... without a hop presence, but a slightly yeasty, caramel malted quality. All-malt flavor was sweet to the point of cloying. Medium-bodied with a syrupy texture.
