COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The most complex of our beer line-up with a combination of five different malts and four different hop varieties. Buttface has the broadest popular appeal of our beers. It has a high malt character and lack of evident hops. This surprises people because it is easy to drink, but has a higher alcohol content than what is perceived.

(draught) clear amber with ring of bubbles. Nose of apple, brown sugar, and sweet malt. Taste of apple, buttery, and wet corn huskiness/grainy. Bad palate linger.

Clear amber color with foamy white head. Nutty toffeeish aroma with grapefruitish hops. Flavor is slightly hoppy with a background of malt, fairly well balanced but a little too musky and tart for my taste.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2005 Nothing very complex here. It pours a nutty brown color with a near non-existant off-white head. Has a roasted malt aroma. It’s got a smooth mouthfeel, solid malt flavors, sweet & roasted. Lots of carbonation with a crisp finish.

Deep red color, large head. Roasted malts, bitter hops. Finish is smooth. Aftertaste is a little too bitter

Draft to taster at Ram in Indy. Looks decent; a completely transparent copper with very thin eggshell lacing. Smells and tastes mildly sweet and malty with notes of caramel. Average on the palate. An underwhelming example of ghe style.

Skyview (5154) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JUN 6, 2007
On tap at the Ram/Big Horn in Rosemont, IL. Pours a coppery red amber brew with an average off-white head that dissolves to a fine film and good lacing. Aroma of light caramel, toffee, mild malt, and a touch of citrus hops. Taste is medium body, lightly carbonated with a slight hop bite. Finish is sweet with a touch of citrus peel dryness.

Amber/brown color. Sparkling. Lasting, average, creamy, off-white head. Excellent lacing. Average malty flavors of molasses, toast, and meal. Earthy bacteria. Licorice and chalk flavors. Medium body and oily texture. Metallic, chalky finish. Salty too. Good color for an amber. Overall, a decent amber beer.

Draft- Spokane. Bright copper color with a light beige head. Fruity raspberry aroma. Light fruit and caramel flavors. Quite spritzy in feel.

This draft brew poured a small head of off-white colored finely sized mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a very good lace. The body was softly carbonated transparent amber brown colored. The aroma was a typical mild malt hop one with a slight "red" note to it. The mouth feel was smooth and almost flat with a minimal "red" bite. The flavor was malty and mild with amber hops noted.

A deep amber color with a nice head. This was a great easy to drink lunch beer. Loved the malts and the light hops. The flavors where good and light with a higher than expected alchol this was a surpise beer.
