From the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 12/10/2007 Very hoppy aroma. Golden coloured hoppy and fruity. Slightly rich on the palate. Crisp and slightly bitter finish.

On tap at the brewpub (Indianapolis, IN). Pours a hazy amber color with one finger white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of citrus, hops, grapefruit, pine, honey. Flavor is about the same. Medium body with a floral hop bite on the finish. Okay DIPA, but seems like it needs more malt character to balance the hops.

Draft at Indy under the name Double IPA. Poured dark clear copper color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate citrus hop and floral aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bittersweet bourbon finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

On tap at the 2007 GABF: Nice fresh hoppy aroma has some light crystal malty sweetness. Transparent bright bronze with a small-bubbled frothy white head. Starts with good, slightly caramely malty sweetness and fresh grapefruity bittering and flavor hop balance with a touch of warmth in the finish. A pretty good IPA.

GABF 2007: Poured a lightly hazy gold with an off-white head. Dull grapefruit aroma with some sweet malt. Grapefruit and citrus flavor from the front to the back. The hops cover most of the malt flavor.

This draft brew from the Oregon Brewers festival poured a small sized head of frothy medium sized bubbles that were fully diminished and left behind a transparent softly carbonated light brown colored body. The mild aroma was hoppy and malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The strong flavor contained notes of piney hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again.
