Sampled on tap at the Humperdinks on Northwest Highway in Dallas. The beer pours a very hazy, light creamy-yellow with a white head. About what you would expect from a beer of this style. The aroma is bananas and cloves, with the bananas being prominent. The flavor is more of the same with wheat and some other citrus mixed in as well. Medium mouthfeel and carbonation. Decent, but nothing spectacular.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2005 A cloudy, hazy orange drink with a sudsy off-white head, this has a strong banana aroma, complemented by grassiness, a dab of malt, and some spiciness. Very soft in the mouth, this tastes like banana, cloves, a touch of lemon, and light malts. It’s got a very clean finish and makes for a refreshing drink.

Hazy straw tinge with light head and lacing. Aroma is delicate with lots of banana/clove esters and lots of yeast & bubblegum. Clean, watery mouthfeel and a light citrus zest bit. A session wheat for sure, must be drank delicately to really savor the flavors here.

A deep hazy golden color with a nice malty banana aroma. This was a good wheat beer. The beer was full of flavor and good with the meal.

Sampled at the Indy brewpub. A cloudy beer that has a small white ring. Cloves and banana aromas with some wheat. Flavor is pretty much the same. Some nice malt arrives late. A pleasant and sweet beer that has some decent zing in the feel.

Draught: Light yellow in color. Cloudy and hazy. Lasting but quickly dimminishing average creamy white head. Hay malts, herb and citrus hops. Flavors of banana, clove, pear, butter, honey, cinnamon, and corriander. Full body, thick texture. Slightly sweet. A good hefe.
