COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A true German-style hefeweizen made with 45% malted wheat, unmalted wheat, Munich malt and 2-row barley. The yeast is a southern German style strain. The flavor profile includes clove and banana undertones. This beer is unfiltered and slightly phenolic. The hop additions are all traditional Hallertauer hops.

Draft at Ram in Seattle. Cloudy pale amber with a diminishing but lacy white head. Medium to light body with light carbonation. The taste and aroma are loaded with bananas. There’s bananas and fruit and vanilla and banana and citrus and honey and bananas and cloves. Oh, and I forgot bananas. The finish is lightly clove-bitter. Great example of the style.

Draught, at Dallas location. We drank many of these watching some college football games and having dinner after attending a boring TCU Texas Tech game. Great nose of coriander, citrus, and spice... flavor is also a great one, on par with some of the best weizens that I’ve had... cloudy orange and a nice light crisp taste. Very good.

Sample glass @ C I Shenanigans. Light white head. Cloudy dark yellow beer. Solid aroma; banana and lemon then a complete reversal and it’s lemon and banana. Dusty quick drinking beer. Delicate flavouring.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a nothing white head. Aroma is an extremly decent clove and bananna. Flavor is again lots of banana, clove and some creamy yeast. This is a pretty damn good hefe and i wish i had more than just one bottle.

This beer pours a cloudy dull yellow with a thin white head. the aromas are heavy cloves, bananas and lemon zest. The mouthfeel is thin but has a lively carbonation. not a bad beer at all! Cheers!

From Humperdinks in Dallas. Orange and cloudy as a hefeweizen should be. Interesting flavor driven by bananas and sweet malt. Pleasant and drinkable.

On tap at the Ram in downtown Indianapolis. This beer formed a small sized white head with fine-small sized bubbles. The body was cloudy with a straw yellow hue. The nose was spicy, clove and banana. The flavor was clove and banana with a smooth mouthfeel. This beer was light-medium bodied with fair lacing.

On tap at C.B. Potts Greenwood Village location. Pour is hazy lemon peel with a small white head and decent lacing. Wheaty, bready, citrusy aroma- notes of banana, light bubblegum, biscuit, and straw. Taste is sweet banana, and clove upfront, leading to a well-round body - very wheaty, bready, straw - and ending with a touch of bubblegum and decent spice on the backend. Full mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Damn decent Hefe, that kind-of surprised me.
