COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A true German-style hefeweizen made with 45% malted wheat, unmalted wheat, Munich malt and 2-row barley. The yeast is a southern German style strain. The flavor profile includes clove and banana undertones. This beer is unfiltered and slightly phenolic. The hop additions are all traditional Hallertauer hops.

On tap at the Ram in downtown Indianapolis. This beer formed a small sized white head with fine-small sized bubbles. The body was cloudy with a straw yellow hue. The nose was spicy, clove and banana. The flavor was clove and banana with a smooth mouthfeel. This beer was light-medium bodied with fair lacing.

Murky golden in appearance...seriously cloudy! Pear fruit and spices are the feature of both the aroma and taste vs more of the banana-clove Im used to, which is nice. Notes: Pub visit during ’09 GABF

Hazy ripe banana in color. Little head with very slight carbonation. Clove and banana nose. Some wheat, spice and banana taste but very subtle. Pretty average Hefe without the lemon thank you.

Cloudy banana color and aroma. A little bitter and tastes like carbonated water has overrun it.

At the Rosemont location. Unfortunately I found this quite watery. Almost seemed like just a Wheat ale as it didn’t have much of the hefeweizen characteristics. A mess. Serving: Tap

Tap. Sweet orange/banana and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy amber color with small head. Sweet banana, clove, and wheat malt flavor. Light carbonation. On the sweet side - not bad.

Pours a hazy light yellow with little head. Aroma is the traditional hefeweizen yeast banana and clove character. Taste is wheat, clove, banana, and spices. Not the most flavorful hefe, but it’s ok.
