Growler sampled at ratman’s. Pours brown with a small, fizzy, off-white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel, toffee), light hops (flowers), heavy yeast (dough, earth) with notes of plum and dates. Full bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation, and an astringent finish. Long duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

11th October 2008. GABF. From the Boise-Spokane-WHB brewpub. 8.2% abv. Clear brwon beer. Molasses and malt. Smooth malty finish. A little off the beaten track.

dark amber with a coffee cream colored head. dusty pear fig nose. fig eggy greatness, and plummy goodness. light earthy yeast in the finish bubble gum flavor lingers for a while. i enjoyed this sweet one. 5 6 7 4 15

On tap Poured a clear reddish brown with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of candi sugar, dark fruit and light bubblegum. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of dark fruit, brown sugar and light bubblegum with asmooth lingerting sweet finish
