Dark orange pour with strong hoppy aroma. Fruity, hoppy flavor that is bitter albeit one dimensional. Mouthfeel is a bit thinner than most DIPAs. Sweetness is also subdued. Very nice to session, though, for a DIPA

Sampled at the brewery in the summer of 09 or 10 on one of my yearly bike rides to the brewery. Pours a copper color with a brown beige creamy head. Aromas are light. Some caramelized malts with a touch of hops. Sweet toasted caramelized malt flavors that become lightly bitter to counteract that sweetness. Pine in the finish. This one needs more malt and more hops.

Pours up a medium cloudy brown with a small white head. Has a spicy aroma of hops. The first sip is very hoppy with a sour aftertaste. These effects seem to diminish as the beer goes on. Flavor is of mild spices.

6.5%, growler fill from rosemont location. dark orange appearance reflects the woodsy notes found inisde. aroma of light fruits and foreshadowing of the bitterness found inside. bitterness is stable and satisfying for a seriously drinkable beer.
