2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
From notes. Draft. Meh, this is probably my least favorite here. Relatively weak flavors of some grassy citrus and a little toasty malt. Drinksble, but nothing to bring home.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nose of soft sweet brown bread, a litle caramel and fruit, lightly spicy hop presence. Pours golden orange with a thin head that does not last, moderate chill haze. Flavors of moderately sweet brown bread, a little caramel, some fruity sugar notes with a slightly spicy and peppery hop finish. Balanced, not flawed, just not super interesting.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at C.B. Potts Greenwood Village location. Pour is clear yellow with a big white head and great lacing. Floral, spicy hops, somewhat grassy, biscuity, cereal, and straw on the nose. Taste is noble hops, earthy, spicy hops, doughy, grainy, and bready with a spicy hop bite on the finish. Medium mouthfeel with high carbonation. OK.

I thought this was a pretty damn tasty beer. Very surprised about the low ratings.

Again, this was a good beer from a chain brewer which was pleasant. Good malty flavor and a good alcohol bite.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at the Schaumburg location. The beer is a mostly clear reddish-orange color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bready malt, fruit and mild hops. Medium, clean body with flavors of toasted malt, caramel, and fruit. Touches of hops here too. The finish is sweet malt with a slight medicinal note. Slightly above average overall.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had this at the Schaumburg location.Arrived to the table a very clear, deep orange with red hints and a creamy, off-white head. Aroma has a faint grainy, mild grassiness with some very mild sweetness. Flavor has a strong grainy grassy flavor up front, some light apple, light grape and a mild toasted malt presence at the end. Body is light with a modest, but fine carbonation that leaves nice lacing. Overall a decent example for the style. The color is a bit off and the flavors are a tad bit strong than traditionally found but a pretty good brew to pair with lunch/dinner as it’s not overpowering in any one flavor.
