On tap @ C.B. Potts Broomfield poured a clear gold with a small dissapating white head. Aromas of sweet malt, light fruit [apple, pear] and carmel. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of sweet malt, hint of carmel and a bit of citrus with a crisp clean finish.

Draught at 2006 Craft Lager Festival. Pours dark golden straw with a frothy white film. Aroma is floral and grassy malt (meal, cereal), yeast (dough). Sweet malt and yeast flavor, medium acidity and bitterness, earth notes. Light bodied and creamy palate.

Sample at the Schaumburg location. The beer is a mostly clear reddish-orange color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bready malt, fruit and mild hops. Medium, clean body with flavors of toasted malt, caramel, and fruit. Touches of hops here too. The finish is sweet malt with a slight medicinal note. Slightly above average overall.

Draft (at Indy downtown location). Lemon and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet barley malt and moderate astringent flavor. Not bad - decent.

On tap at Ram - Rosemont, IL. Poured a clear lighter coppery orange with a very light dusting of off-white head. Aroma picked up some caramel surrounded by woodsy notes.. some floral.. sweet overall and a touch toasty. Flavor picked up lightly smoked drawn caramel, some sweetener, leafy hoppage, and some alcohol... not very well-made, but drinkable enough. Light-medium bodied and thicker on the back-end.. rather poor flow to it. Not so good.

Draught. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cookie, grain), moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium to full body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Bitterness never really develops, leaving this too sweet to drink much of. Nice mouthfeel though.

Nose of soft sweet brown bread, a litle caramel and fruit, lightly spicy hop presence. Pours golden orange with a thin head that does not last, moderate chill haze. Flavors of moderately sweet brown bread, a little caramel, some fruity sugar notes with a slightly spicy and peppery hop finish. Balanced, not flawed, just not super interesting.

I had much better expectations for this beer. Clear yellow color with rocky white head. Sweet aroma with a primarily malt background, little hops. It was very bitter and underhopped, very unbalanced and acidic.

This draft brew from the brewery in Chicago poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a transparent softly carbonated golden brown colored body. The mild aroma was malty sweet and dough. The crisp semi-thick mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt and sweet. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again.
