Flavor – A tasty Oktoberfest with a good malt and hops flavor. This was well balanced.
Palate – Crisp Mouthfeel, nice texture with a dry finish.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draft: Pours a transparent dark amber color with a smaller head. Nice lacing. Nose is faint of malty sweetness with light hops. Tastes malty and lageresque without a strong or definitive character. Looks great (no kidding, like a "5"), but smells and tastes pretty weak and watery.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at the South Hill Puyallup Ram. Outstanding representative of the style. Deep, rich amber color. Malty, mapley sweetness, with a nearly perfect touch of hops. Perhaps just a touch heavy on the palate for a fest-marzen, but I’d drink plenty more of this.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft. Amber in the glass with a thin off-white head. Subdue malty aroma. The flavor found spices, caramel and was lightly toasted. Light body, dry and high carbonation on the tongue. Slight toasty aftertaste.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
(Tap) Pours amber without much of a head. Malty and slightly nutty. Dry, bland aftertaste. Rather refreshing, but not something I could drink a lot of.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Darker looking than most Oktoberfests. The draught was served with hardly any head. For a micro brewed Oktoberfest this was good (not that I’ve had any others). Then again,I wasn’t expecting Paulaner. Its sweet, malty, has a decent roasted taste. Nothing special but its still enjoyable.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sweet and malty up front with a lot of fruitiness in the finish. Darker copper in color with a soft white head. Not to bad, better then most other local oktoberfest beers i’ve had recently.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Amber colored, malty aroma with hints of sweetness? A sweet and very long finish, with a little bitterness. Overall not to bad.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at Ram brewpub. Clear light amber having spare head with spare lacing. No discernable aroma. No discernable carbonation. Medium bodied with thin texture that starts dry and bitter with light sweet malt flavor and finished dry with moderate bitterness. A decent drinkable dry Oktoberfest beer.
