3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 TheRealMGD (540) - Lakewood, Washington, USA - SEP 18, 2012Tap @ RAM. Clear gold pour with a short, persistent white head leaving moderate lace. Nose is pretty minimal - maybe some lightly sweet malts? Medium-light body with moderate carbonation. Straw, squash, cafe-au-lait, biscuit and corn syrup. Finish is mostly sweet, but with a touch of toffee bitterness. Not my favorite style, but not a poor example a bit above average.

On tap at Schaumburg location, pours a clear copper with a very thin head, aroma is of slight spices and caramel, the flavor is much of the same, pretty boring and nothing really stands out, the mouthfeel is nice though, not watery like most of the other beers have been.

On tap @ C.B. & Potts, Greenwood Village, CO. Clear yellow amber, not much head. Smells malty with sweet wheat tones. Tastes too much like corn; very distracting. Some wheaty and malty, but without a noticeable hop profile. Uncomplex and not great tasting.

Bronze body, decent head. Easy grainy-malt accented nose translates similarly to flavor. Rather flat hoppiness. Slightly stale. Not bad, just very ordinary and lackluster.
