holdenn (1214), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 8, 2008 Draft at the Rosemont location. Hazed amber orange color with a beige tiny bubbled head that laces in sheets. The aroma is light and only really becomes noticeable when it approaches fridge temp. Caramels, citrus, red apples and a little hop spice. Foremost caramel and toffee malt flavors that fade into a touch of bubblegum. Grassy slightly spicy hops surface on my tongue and linger long after the beer is gone. Fresh and a pretty decent pale ale.
trevor211 (205), Seattle, Washington, USA Nov 18, 2008 On draft once a week for me - liters are $3 during trivia night. It has more going for it than anything else I’ve had from Big Horn, which isn’t saying a whole lot. It’s a cloudy, light honey-amber, with a decent balance of hops and light malts. Slightly dilute, with zero complexity... but hey, at $3 / liter, I won’t ask for more. luttonm (164), Seattle, Washington, USA Oct 30, 2008 $3 for 32oz trivia-night special. My standard for Ram, not a bad beer but not very ambitious either. Menthol and fresh... touch yeasty. sweet/bitter is decently balanced. after4ever (2006), Brier, Washington, USA Oct 26, 2008 Draft at the Tacoma Waterfront location. Pours cloudy, lightly burnished medium copper. Very light gray lace. No head, some slow-moving carb. Virtually vacant nose, maybe a little sweet caramel there. Medium body. Biscuit, caramel. and some dry brown leaves on the mid-palate. Earthy leafy notes at the finish.
