On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy caramel to amber with one finger white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of banana, clove, citrus, honey. Flavor is sweet and floral with notes of honey, clove, banana, yeast, bread. Medium body with a slightly sweet and floral finish. Very nice example of the style.

an above average Wit. Pours a cloudy orange from tap into a pint glass. Thin white head laces delicately. Nose is of wheat, hay, oranges, and a touch of floral hops. A nicely balance easy drinking beer.

Alright wit, good example of the style. Nothing especially special, but decent nonetheless.

Ughsmash (5822) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 26, 2007
On tap at Ram - Wheeling. Poured a hazy pale golden with a short cap of white head. Aroma was of faint sweet bananas and orange peel.. non-offensive, but too restrained. Sweet toasted bananas and star fruit in the flavor with mildly tart wheaty notes extending outward.. vegetal notes and orange peel at the back and through the finish.. some peppery spices too. Ugly feel on the palate.. tacky hints from sweetness and sourness don’t mesh together.

(06.18.06) On tap at Ram brewpub, Wheeling, IL. Poured cloudy yellow with small white head. Soft carbonation. Smokey clove aroma. Light-to-medium bodied wheat beer that starts dry with light malt sweetness and spicy clove/smoke/fruity flavors. Finished dry with light hop bitterness. This is a very good drinkable beer that goes well with BBQ ribs.
