The flavor is balanced, semi-sweet with a dry tail, medium body. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Jul 20, 2004 Light mahogany, spotty lacing and no head. Aromas of caramel, toffee, vanilla and some hops. Alcohol and roast malts. Bitter hops, alchol, toffee, and roasty alcohol. Malty and roasty palate with a bitter ale finish.
DA (2641), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Jun 5, 2004 Updated: Jun 6, 2004On tap at the Sasquatch brew festival in Eugene,OR. Slighty dark red in color. Aroma is very citrusy hopped with almost a light fruit finish. Taste was kinda thin with a raspberry fruit hint. The beer ended slightly bitter and was very smooth and refreshing.
