On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear dark copper with a lacy white ring of foam. Soft caramel & peat nose. Medium body, minimal carbonation. Taste of brown sugar, caramel, figs. Dry, earthy/smoky finish.

Poured a nice amber-copper body with a medium white head. Sweet, peaty malty, mildly hoppy flavor. Well balanced and true to style. Nice offering. One of my favorites from the sampler tray.
