Jun 22, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear dark copper with a lacy white ring of foam. Soft caramel & peat nose. Medium body, minimal carbonation. Taste of brown sugar, caramel, figs. Dry, earthy/smoky finish.

Apr 20, 2008 Poured a nice amber-copper body with a medium white head. Sweet, peaty malty, mildly hoppy flavor. Well balanced and true to style. Nice offering. One of my favorites from the sampler tray.

Nov 25, 2007 On tap at the brewery. Pours dark amber wtih a smooth white head. Long caramel malt flavor, fruity and woody. Great balance and smooth palate. One of the best beers they were serving.

Jun 16, 2007 On Tap at the BrewPub. Clear orange with a small off white head. Sweet malty aroma. Lots of sweet malt flavor. fruity. Nice flavors but a bit unusual. Very soft carbonated.
