3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 3fourths (6399) - Boulder, USA - JUN 27, 2003
Slightly murky orange. Beautiful look of opaque orange light. Looks like an unfiltered wheat. Moderately strong hop aroma of oranges, sugar, but it was served too cold. Bitterness is unaccompanied by a dry feeling, but the finish is appropriately dry.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Alphadelic (1470) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 18, 2012
A dry and very Columbus oriented green-tea/marijuana nose. Crisp with a tight and light carbonation. A light kiwi flavour and acidity with a slow bitterness. The carbonation reminds me Kronenburg 1664 and I don’t mean that as an insult, it just does. I think it’s nice, the bitterness builds a little too intensely and that weedy flavour could become too much if I bought more than a glass.

Pint at the brewery - Aroma is packed with citrus and pine hops and a malty finish. Flavor of very chewy fresh citrus hops, pine resin and enough malt to balance it. Palate is sticky and tart. Very nice NW IPA.

Nice and hoppy with an orangeish hue. Good balance and strength and the best one I sampled at the brewery.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BillKismet (2753) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 6, 2009
Orange amber, rather flavor looking, with a slight ring of head. Intense Columbus hop nose. Musky co-humulone loaded pungence with fringes of cattiness. Initially, flavor is not as intense, but it continues to build to a cresendo of Columbus puissance. The IBU’s are omnipresent. Strong bitter finish. Only for a true hop aficionado.

On tap at the brewpub. Auburn to amber in color. Aroma was nice, mostly being earthy and floral. Flavor of tingling hops; don’t remember why I wrote that. Flowery citrus bitterness. Impressed with the flavor in this one.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 anders37 (9895) - Malmö, SWEDEN - DEC 16, 2008
Draft at the brewpub. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a malty hoppy citrus aroma with some resiny hints. Sweetish malty hoppy bitter citrus flavor. Has a sweetish malty hoppy bitter citrus finish with a long hoppy bitter aftertaste.

Cloudy brown, with citrus aroma. A medium body. Finishes with a sour hop bite tat spoils an otherwise great beer.
