A Belgian-style strong golden ale with a wondrous range of fruit flavors like plum, apricot, and cherry imparted by special Belgian yeast. Traditionally served in special goblets this style of beer can turn an ordinary lunch into an extraordinary event and a slow Sunday afternoon into a special Golden Sabbath.

Not bad. Wish I could give it a 3.5 for palate. Sweet. Slight tang. Weak finish though.

On draught at Big Island Brewhaus. Golden color. Aroma is herbal tea, prune, and grape. Taste is plum, spicy yeast, and a touch of citrus. Spicy, fruity, and yeasty.

Poured from bottle to glass. Clear golden hue with creamy white head that lingered. Aroma is straw, Belgian esters, peppercorn, floral, honey, slight sulphur, ethanol. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium body and zesty carbonation. Taste is sweet throughout with ethanol finish and slight CO2 bite. A pretty nice Belgian style ale from the island!

Aroma of honey fruit and spices present. Heavy on carbonation, and sweetness balances the high abv. Decent beer, but pricy for what you get. Not on par with most Belgian ales

Bottle from Safeway Lahaina, in our appartment, Kanapali beach 24/04/14. Clear golden amber with a good sized off white head that retains well. Nose is papaya, caramel, light spice, tropicana, honeycomb, apricot, pineapple. Taste comprises bitter orange, caramel, spice, candied orange peel, light yeast tones, mellow fruits, sliver of honey, this holds up very well for 8.5%, well tempered with a pinch of spice and a malty base it doesn’t ever get too sweet or cloying. Medium + body, fine carbonation, smooth on the palate, light boozedom at the curtain call. This was a new brewery for me and this beer far surpassed my expectations. Solid Belgian offering.

Sampled in a bomber. A nicely made brew that has a light hop palate and a crisp / carbonation that is nice on the palate. Nicely constructed brew.

Bottle in Maui. A golden color with a foamy off white head. A yeasty Belgian aroma with noticeable honey. A grainy flavor that doesn't quite balance out but still very enjoyable.

Bottle, shared with Parksy, Grippits, and my wife. Deep golden, slightly hazy. Sweet pale malt and floral honey profile, really lovely aromatics here! Peppery notes in the finish. Balanced and nuanced. Lovely.

Tap and bottle sampling. Pour is deep luscious gold with a lasting white head. Aroma and flavor bursting with sweet bubblegum malt, pronounced spice, light honey, and Belgium yeast notes. This place produces some assertive beers and this is no exception. Still clean and drinkable though with a smooth sweet finish.
