A Belgian-style strong golden ale with a wondrous range of fruit flavors like plum, apricot, and cherry imparted by special Belgian yeast. Traditionally served in special goblets this style of beer can turn an ordinary lunch into an extraordinary event and a slow Sunday afternoon into a special Golden Sabbath.

Pours hazy gold with a small white head. Tropical fruitiness really matched up well with the setting (watching the sunset from a lanai).

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow to light amber. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers), with notes of gum, pineapple, banana, pepper. Flavor is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium to full body, velvety/watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation, moderately alcoholic. Another strong entry from this brewery...probably the best brewery in the state, just based on this and the IPA. Clean, vibrant, balanced, and pretty authentic.

Bomber from Safeway in Lahaina. Slightly hazy golden/orange with a small white head. Nice Belgian aroma with a spicy note. Sharp, spiciness hits immediately with a hot alcohol bite. Lots of coriander and baking spice with a nice toasted malt and sweet caramel flavor. This is a big beer but very drinkable and delicious.
