COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
(I.P.A). was developed in England around 1800; the extra strength in alcohol and hops helped preserve the beer on its long export journeys to India and beyond. The style has developed a following worldwide. Ours begins with smooth, malty creaminess and a big burst of dry-hop flavor and aroma from a variety of American hops. It finishes with a lingering yet pleasant bitterness. Is it Overboard? You decide.

Sweet and grapefruity aromas. Pours clear rich copper with a one finger white head. Taste is a little strange for an IPA, not very bitter with a grapefruit finish.

Orange pour with creamy off white head and lace. Aroma is citrus and pepper. Caramel malt citrus with a medium good bitter. Medium body with smooth carbonation.

Nice! This my first time tasting this brewery. This couldn?t have been named worse. This is NOT overboard in any way. However it delivers. Soft fruity aromas. Delicate fruit forward flavour. Very complex stuff going on here. Only down fall would be hops. Just a tad bit more bitterness would sky rocket this beer into greatness.

A golden IPA with a thin white head. In aroma, a wonderful citrus and resinous hops, catnip, very classic. In mouth, a nice smooth biscuit malt with loads of citrusy hops, catnip, pink grapefruit, excellent. At the REAL gastropub, Zwanze day, Dec. 1 2012.

Draft at brewery: Tasty and easy-drinking IPA, albeit a tad too sugary for my buds. Sweet malt base had elements of sugar cereal, caramel and honey. Super juicy hops exuded citrus and flowers. Moderate, somewhat drying bitterness. Very sessionable. And I liked this IPA better than the Tropo Lilikoi, which was also on tap.
