COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - Nov to April.
A wonderful strong bitter beer with chocolate and roast crystal malt. A big hit in our first winter at 'The Keelman'.

Agree with SilkTork that there was too much butterscotch in the aroma. A touch sharp without a lot of depth to the flavour. Some mild hops and soft malt. Not unpleasant but not that much going on. Conditioning may not have been perfect. Cask (gravity dispense), White Cliffs Beer Festival 2005.

Dover Fest. This was one of the first beers Chrissie and I grabbed after waiting one and a half hours in the cold to get into the Fest. Sadly there was too much toffee and butterscotch, and the hops were just too mild and muggy.
