3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pint at the Wheatsheaf Felling. Bright Gold, thin white head. Caramel straw, and farmyard, aroma. A hint of sauvignon and candy in the flavour, but there is an unbalanced astringency spoiling for a fight. Thin bodied, watery if Iím honest. Not Big Lampís best.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fine looking golden ale with a small healthy head. Balanced hops and malts in both aroma and flavour and has a healthy taste.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
[cask at the Guldford Arms, Edinburgh] Slightly hazy golden ale with a decent head. Rather unpleasant musty aroma, dry strawlike quality on the nose. Plenty of malt on the taste, almost astringent quality to it, however. Not sure this one was at its best or should have this much bitterness.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cask @ 3 Judges. Light golden colour, white head. Aroma is caramel malts, bit of fruits. Flavour is lots of caramel malts, slight hoppy and nutty. Not too well. Dry finish.
