imdownthepub (4312), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Sep 4, 2007 Cask conditioned at Harbury Beer Fest ’07. Copper coloured, slight head, hazed. Rich malty beer with a hint of cider about it, a little eggy, sulphery and a bit quick on the finish where I expected a bitterness. It’s ok. chriso (4434), London, Greater London, England Sep 11, 2004 Attractive rich copper colour. Clean, clear aroma, with a touch of malt and some hops. Mildly fruity flavour. Dry finish with some bitterness. Quite pleasant and easy drinking, but punches a bit below its weight for a 5.2% beer. Cask at GBBF 2004.
duff (5407), Sydney, Australia, Surrey, England Sep 5, 2004 Cask@GBBF04’. Slightly buttery, some apples, edgy malt flavour, but the finish is dry and slightly bitter, not too bad i suppose, a little bit boring. Hildigöltur (5055), København Ø, Denmark Aug 22, 2004 [Cask conditioned] A quite fruity bitter. Smooth mouthfeel. Apples in the aroma. Fruity flavour. SilkTork (3959), Rochester, Kent, England Aug 8, 2004 Pump - GBBF. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Decent premium bitter.
