tap at the bow ... golden yellow... thin white head ... soft dull hop nose ... dull almost smokey woody malts ... soft toffee ... not workin for me.
3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Benjii (2347) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 6, 2011
Had this on cask at the Cask and Barrel Southside, Edinburgh. A yellow beer with a creamy, white head. The nose was really interesting, lots of hay! The beer tasted a bit yeasty with a nice malt character. Very drinkable.

Cask@GBBF2007. Pale yellow colour, not much head. Very malty nose with bready and even yeasty hints. Flavour is yeast, some slight hints of smooth caramel malts. Still boring.

A Mes rate:
Cask handpump at GBBF. Watery yellow appearance. Sulphuric aroma with slight diacetyl and some honey. Exactly the same in the flavour with a powdery finish. Boring.

Cask conditioned - handpump - GBBF 2007. A bright yellow gold coloured beer. A sweet aroma with notes of honey. The taste also has honey and sweet yeastiness. Acceptable but fairly uninteresting.
