Australian Galaxy & American Cascade Hops create an intense hop aroma and flavor balanced with a medium malt body yielding a very drinkable American-style India Pale Ale.

1 pint can from bottles and cans. Nice pure white head. Dark Orange coloration. Smells a bit metallic, perhaps it is psychosomatic. But I can?t smell anything else. Flavor is...Not really anything. It isn?t skunky, but it isn?t flavorful. I am at a loss for rating. It?s ok. Alright after a bit I am noticing some lime and lemon which is refreshing. There is also no heat at all, which is great

750ml bottle 2/13/15 (Courtesy of TerryR)-40° in Shaker-Pours a hazy orangish amber with a small white covering for a head. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of caramel, hops, and malt. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and goes down very smooth for the ABV.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed on a nice Monday night while doing some song writing. Appearance is a cloudy gold, not much head. Aroma is mostly hoppy, actually it’s just hoppy, not a bad thing though. Taste has a nice hop profile but doesn’t add much else, which again isn’t a bad thing, it’s just a straight forward IPA but it’s pretty good.

It poured a golden/amber color with an off-white head. The aroma was of resinous pine, pale malts and a hint of bread. The taste was semi-sweet with pine, floral hops and mild citrus. There was a little moderate bitterness on the finish. Very nice.

Slight hazy orange, small white head. Aroma is malty citrus, orangy. Taste is very well balanced for an IPA, A mellow hop bite, nice flavor. Will try again.

Aromas of tea leaf, citrus, orange, grapefruit, hints of cocoa. Clear amber with a lasting white head. Dry, bitter upfront quickly transitioning to caramelly, bready malts, hints of English tea, and a balancing bitter finish. Light-medium bodied.

DATE REVIEWED: July 31, 2014... GLASSWARE: Duvel oversized tulip... OCCASION: a week with the air conditioning off continues...APPEARANCE: dark, forceful amber orange body, thick and hazy; effervescence is deliberate, sparse; head is creamy, thick, almost oozing with Swiss cheese-like caverns forming along the glass; fantastic lacing--a near one-finger head holds throughout drinking... AROMA: beautiful bouquet of fresh floral hops with some fruit traces; big caramel malt presence--strikes a surprising balance for an IPA with a 7.5 ABV and with pine cone wafting all about... PALATE: medium-to-full bodied, swift to the throat yet sitting against the tongue and cheek in its aftertaste; the weakest aspect of the beer? ... TASTE: caramel eases the hop bomb that rears its piney head; orange is suggested in the profile; finishes sharply with a somewhat astringent pucker--yet, overall, this beer delivers a tremendous balance for a beer that too often is a bitter battle.. OVERALL: at $4.99, probably worth a bomber’s price; Big Muddy may be the brewery, but this one’s pretty clear in its taste--though, as the bottle drains, the beer becomes more subdued and easier drinking--is ita trap to drink another?!...

Fresh can. Pours murky gold with tall white frothy head. Aroma is peach, floral, some pineapple and grapefruit, tangerine. Taste is more citrus than hop, sweeter rather than some of the crisp, spicy notes from the hops. You do get a nice, slightly bitter resinous finish.

Medium bodied, yellow IPA with a ton of head. Bready malts accented by some nice pine hops. Tried at the Celebration and the Station in KC in 2014.
