2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Binny’s. Clear amber pour - looks like a very watered down cola. Small wispy white head. Malt and grain. Dusty/earthy. Lighter palate with a dry finish. Simple, and fairly dull. Not my flavor profile.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours copper / amber with a good sized off-white head. The aroma has red fruits, toasted malt, brown sugar and spice. It has a medium body that is fairly crisp, but also has some smoothness and and some sharp carbonation that has a bit of restraint to it. The beer starts off with dry caramel, toast, earthiness and tree bark. The finish has a bit of vanilla, still the earthy harshness, some dark fruits and a bit of molasses / licorice. Pretty decent.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This pours a semi-cloudy amber color with a foamy beige head. The aroma is mostly malty with not much else that my nose could pick out. The flavor is rather simple with an average taste of grains and malt. There is a lingering grassy grain after taste.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear dark amber. Not bitter, but does have a bit of a champagne aftertaste. A pretty good beer from a local brewer. Will look out for more from Big Muddy.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle (courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Shaker at 40°. Color is a deep clear brown with good carbonation and a soft, tight off white head. Aroma is faintly roasted with a grain and nut scent and a sour note in the back. It has a medium body and a crisp mouth feel. Flavor is toffee and light brown sugar on a malty body followed with a mild bitterness. After taste is clean with the sweet flavors turning somewhat fruity. Overall its a tasty brew, nice flavors and well balanced.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear dark amber with a medium short lived beige head. Aroma and taste is of dark malts and caramel flavors, yeast, mild fruity notes and hops bitterness on the end for balance. A medium body with moderate carbonation. The finish is sweet dark caramel malt, some grains, yeast and mild bitterness with a bit of a nutty ending. Overall good drinking brew.

I had this at Reifschneider's. Pours amber with a white head. Taste chocolate, sweet. I thought this was so so. I would pass on this down the road.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle. Dulled orange-brown body. Thin, soapy off-white head. Medium bodied, easy drinking. Smooth brown sugary malt tones, rather one dimensional, but OK for what it is. Finishes up underwhelming, needs something more. OK I guess.
