Really excellent sweet stout flavor. Vanilla is almost undetectable though. A little watery. Could be a 4.9 beer if the just made more flavorful.

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago,IL; enjoyed at home while cleaning after a long work day. Appearance is a dark brown with a thin white head. Aroma mostly vanilla with a little bit of chocolate. Taste is mainly vanilla with a bit of lactose, pretty sweet. Not a big fan of this guy.

Pours a translucent dark mahogany with a thick off white head. Aroma is very strong but not in a good way. It’s almost rotten. Taste is very similar but bland with song carbonation in the mouth. Not a good beer.

Overall a great stout. The vanilla flavor is not perfect, but it is still pleasant.

12/22/14. 12oz bottle from Milan Hy Vee. Black pour, really brown, under a small tan head. Huge vanilla aroma, mild chocolate. Huuuuuge vanilla flavor, really vanilla extract. Eh.

12oz bottle 11/11/14 (Courtesy of TerryR)-42° in English Pint-Pours a dark brown with a medium tan head. Aroma of sweetness, vanilla, and malt. Taste of vanilla, malt, chocolate, and hints of coffee. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and has a lot going for it.

Pours dark brown with a crimson tint and large tan soapy head. The aroma has lots of vanilla, toast, chocolate, more vanilla and is very lush & creamy. It has a medium smooth body with some fairly soft carbonation. The taste starts with lots of vanilla, lightly rough roast, chocolate, hints of coffee and almost and oakiness. The finish has a nice dryness, roast and bit of an earthy hoppy bite. Pretty nice.

EtTuCthulhu (1323) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - AUG 28, 2014
The color of this beer is an opaque dark brown color (close to burnt sienna) with a small off-white head that fades quickly. The aroma blends heavy vanilla with undercurrents of roasted malts, coffee, and dark chocolate, and the flavor is very similar to the aroma due to the slight malt bitterness, slight umami, and mild sweetness, the latter of which really comes through in the vanilla-filled finish. The mouthfeel fuses medium-full body, soft carbonation, and slick texture.

Draft. Nice litte vanilla forward chocolatey milk stout here, feels like a bigger beer but dirnks easy.

Pours a nice rich dark color. Very little head. Maybe a half a finger. Aroma is real fantastic. Get a lot of vanilla aroma. Drinking it is a little disappointing, not enough stout for me. A decent beer, but something I wouldn’t order again.
