Impressive bottle of beer! Muddy is a local brewery to me...this brew is one that makes me proud of it. Very smooth drink and the vanilla comes through nicely. The bottle I had was Eagle Rare...Bourbon Barrel aged. All flavors came though nicely...none over powering...none underwhelming either. Smooth and enjoyable.

Pours a nice dark brown. Aromas of malts and chocolate. Flavors of oats, slight caramel, roasted malts and some slightly burnt chocolate tones.

It poured a black color with a tiny white head. The aroma was of vanilla, very nice and full of vanilla flavor. The taste was of chocolate and roasted malt but not too much. A very tasty Vanilla Stout.

I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head and some lacing. The aroma is vanilla and gingerbread. The taste is the same with hints of sugary milk. It was a bit too sweet. It was smooth on the palate with some carbonation. The more I had, the sweeter I got. It was decent.

Bottle. Pours a deep brown with a good tan head and lace. Good amount of vanilla along with chocolate, roasted malts and cream. Medium-bodied, with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel and modest carbonation. Good stuff

12 oz. bottle. Black pour, with a big, foamy, tan head. Nose is strong vanilla, butterscotch, light coffee, and pecans. Cloying sweetness, with a touch of bitterness. Medium body, syrupy, and a little acerbic. This is a pretty nice beer, with a ton of vanilla. The vanilla is nice, but the base stout is lacking.

Wanted to like this more than I did, but it’s just too sweet and too much vanilla. Not terrible, just mediocre. Little thin, smell is meh.

On tap. Serve a dark brown with a touch of ruby around the edge. Nice tan head and lacing. Aroma of vanilla, malt, milk chocolate and nut. Taste of milk chocolate, vanilla, bit of coffee and nut. Mild bitterness and the finish is quite dry. Fairly full body, thick and creamy. Nice beer for the style
