Blond color. Compared to the regular Lager, this one is drier but also a bit smelly (feet). The bitterness is quite strong, with very light aromatic components. It’s a better match for food than the Lager because of the bitterness, but it’s not a better beer.

Pint on tap at the Alibi Room in Vancouver poured a slightly hazy straw color with a finger of white head which left a thin lacing behind as it settled. Aroma is light toast and cereal with some aromatic hops. Taste is light grainy sweetness with a pleasing hop bitterness which lingers a few seconds on the tongue. This is a pretty decent pilsener with a little extra hop bite than most. Very interesting and quite enjoyable.
