Wheat and banana are strong in the nose along with a sugary sweetness. Opaque yellow tan body is topped by a low but lasting white head that leaves some sudsy lacing. Banana flavour is strong with plenty of tart wheat. Sweetness lingers in the aftertaste. Medium light body with somewhat low carbonation. A decent hefeweizen, but I’m not really noticing any contribution from the apricot. Sampled on cask at Dix (Caskival 2007).

Hazy pale yellow with minimal head. Aroma is banana and some wheat with a touch of yeast. Lots of body and flavour on this with nice wheat flavour and slightly citrus. Hardly notice any apricot which is ok as the beer is very enjoyable.

Based on a hefeweizen - the brewer is new from the Hefe that Joe and I rated and from this brew the new Hefe is quite a bit better than that old one.

Cloudy pale yellow. Marshmallow, banana on the nose. Full-bodied, malty character...almost a bit too much. I like the icing sugar note but there’s a little olive oil slickness in the mouthfeel that detracts. Honestly, not much apricot in this (in terms of amount, there actually is, but it doesn’t show through). Enjoyable, fluffy hefe, though.
