Hazy amber, thin head.Light sweet honey nose.Sweet cocoa malt flavor,late arriving mild but lasting hop end

Dark straw/amber colour. Almost whiskeyish aroma (lowland malt). Fairly light character, very toasty. Lots of cocoa. Interesting, if nothing else. A really odd beer even ignoring that it’s in an IPA competition. Not bad overall, though.
