2014-01-18. Hazy dark yellow body with a small creamy white head that fades. Aroma is sweet and estery. Flavour is similarly sweet and estery with mild cereals, wheat and pale malt. Average plus bodied palate, carbonation. Okay. Draft sampler at the brewpub, Ottawa

tap on the premises. hazy almost cloudy pale golden pour with a small white cap, poor retention and lacing. clovey, bananas, lightly toasted wheat with a touch of acidity, honeyed peppery and spicy malts, sweetish fruitiness - berries, touch of dirt, minerals and chalk, umami-ish hint, herbs and grass. moderate carbonation, light body, relatively dry grassy-herbal finish. decently crafted hefe.

Decent. balanced hefeweizen. Banana and very light clove here. Some bread-like yeast as well. Pours cloudy gold with good head and lacing. Finishes sour with some sweetness. Some light citrus as well. Tap at brewpub.

"The summer has arrived and this seasonal will do the trick. Although their patio has yet to open (June 25th) :p Info from my very informative server: style hefeweizen, german wheat, 4.8%, served with slice of lemon. No head whatsoever. Mouthfeel a bit sour and tingly at first (might try without lemon next time) but pretty smooth afterwards. A very hazy light orange appearance, cannot see through. No lacing. Good for humid type weather, quite refreshing. "

Summer seasonal, still available for winter (February 2013). Pours a hazy golden colour with a warm cap and decent wavy lacing. Belgian Ale yeast aromas with notes of bananas and wheat. Pretty much the same for the taste. The mouthfeel is slightly creamy. Refreshing, easy-going, summer ale. Glad I could try it !

4 oz sample at National Capital Craft Beer Festival. 17AU12.

App.: Cloudy deep golden, small off-white head. Aroma: Pretty heavy on the banana, light clove notes, a touch of sulfur, a little wheat/grain, so-so. Palate: Medium body, light, creamy effervescence. Flav.: Quite grainy, a little citrus, less banana and clove, some hop edge; dry with more bitterness than expected.

A murky golden weizen with a thin off white head. In aroma, light banana and cloves, with light sulfur notes. In mouth, a smooth crisp malt with classic banana and cloves, nice and smooth. On tap at National Capital Craft Beer Festival, August 17, 2012.
