2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pale golden pour thatís just a touch hazy. Long lasting white foamy head. Very grassy and grainy. A little bit of that earthy smell I found in the Red. Again it has that earthy taste. Iím really thinking itís the Big Rig hops, which Iíve officially decided I dig. Very different from the Red other than that. This is thinner and easier to drink. Grassy and maybe even a bit corny. Thereís a sweet spike in the taste just before the finish I find doesnít fit. Not bad and easy to drink but not nearly as good as the Red.

Tapaed at The Pilot House in Kingston/Canada. Overall for me a hard to drink beer. Golden clear color. White time-short head. A too sweet aroma of malt and sweet tropical fruits. Same with taste. Some rice and corn detectable, malty, no bitterness. It reminds me of a German helles but it is even more sweet. Not my style of a beer at all.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2015 Very nice floral aroma.Pale colour wit h a frothy head that disappears quickly.
Sweet with bitter overtones and a light body with a creamy texture.
Just the right amount of fizz.
Overall, I think this is a great drinkable beer.
If you plan on drinking a few beers and watching the game, this could be just what you need.

Pours gold...clear small white cap, aromas of swet pale malt over some gold nugget hops - smooth, pleasant delivery and a clean malty finish - this is classic Canadian golden ale before the national breweries Fxxxed it up.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Growler from the brewery. Pours a very light golden colour. Foamy white head with some retention. Not much taste at all. Cereals and bread are the main notes I pick out. Boring and bland overall. Maybe good for those that don?t really like beer. Have to admit, I was pretty disappointed with this one.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Its nice to have a local brewery but overall the beer is mediocre. Gold with a thick white foamy, lasting head. Simple smell of bready malt with light caramel and grassy hops. Tastes mostly of grain and toasted malt with soft peach and a dry flat finish. Though the initial taste is alright its much to be desired.

Tall boy from the LCBO. Filtered amber with light carbonation and a frothy white head. Aromas are breads, cereals, some light sweet malts, and a hint of light hops. Tastes are grassy, some sweet corn, and a hint of caramel on the swallow.
This is by far my least favourite of their brews and I suspect designed to give the Molson Canadian and Labatt Blue crowd something to drink when they visit the brew pub. Try their other excellent brews when there as they make so many good ones.
