On draught at the Big River Brewpub south of Vancouver, BC. Pours a clear golden blonde brew with a creamy white head that has some nice retention and spotty lacing. Aroma is almost absent with a hint of light fruit and golden grain malt. Taste is light bodied, some light fruit, a touch of light grain and some grassy hops. Finish slightly dry and then a crisp, clean cut aftertaste with no flavor.

Draught at the brewpub Blond color. It has some fruity malt aroma, but too light. Some malt flavor and a good bitterness level. It has a touch of bitter almonds finish. Drinkable, but very easy.

Pale straw colour, thin white head. Pale malt, light blackberry fruitiness with a bit of breadiness. Flavour is semi-sweet, light fruit and bready malts with a dry, clean finish. Quite good session beer.

Clear dull bronze colour. Aroma is light and apple-juicy. First flavour is centennial (maybe cascade) hops, balanced by a light pale malt character. Slightly berryish. Light, but reasonable balance. One of the better Blondes in BC, though admittedly that’s not a tough competition.
